"Cat Manor"

SOMETIMES THE PAINTING YOU DREAM OF MIGHT EXIST SOLELY IN YOUR IMAGINATION!

That was the premise when Lisa and Mike F. visited me at my studio, bearing a very rough sketch of the painting that was in their imagination. I listened carefully to their instructions, which included a spooky old Victorian house (of my choosing), graveyard on the front lawn, buzzard on the roof, a rickety old wrought iron fence with gate, their six cats plus the ghost of seventh, other elements too numerous to mention here, and -- oh yes -- themselves, as witch and wizard.

This one was fun! Their imagined haunted house, complete with a small army of unspoken spooks, became "Cat Manor." the large painting you see here.

Cat Manor also received many comments from Friends Of The Haunted Studio (people like yourself who enjoy my art) when it appeared as "Commissioned Painting of the Month" in January's Halloweenist.

When I communicated this to Lisa and Mike, they generously permitted me to share their painting, and our collective vision, with you.

"Cat Manor"has been meticulously scanned from the original watercolor and digitally printed with fade-resistant inks on specially treated heavyweight watercolor paper. I personally inspect your print, sign it, slip it into its protective clear plastic envelope, and include with it a page of helpful framing hints from The Haunted Studio.
